Abbey Road Cable Product Range

Abbey Road Monitor series cable is based on the same phase coherence and high-speed principles as our award winning ‘Abbey Road Reference' range. It is a high purity, ultra-fine stranded OFC copper (Cu) and silver (Ag) hybrid, with a special dual layer olefinic and nitrogen gas dielectric combination. The cable has been designed for optimal speed and phase linearity in and well beyond the audio spectrum.

Our patent conductor and dual layer insulation system makes our range of cable extremely fast and the phase linearity gives excellent imagery and a natural clarity across a wide range of production styles.

Conductors: 4x1.5mm, 392 copper-silver strand phase linear hybrid

Primary dielectric layer: Olefinic compound and nitrogen gas injected

Second dielectric layer: Solid polyethylene secondary skin

Lay: Orbital twist, 200mm lay length

Capacitance 33pF/m, 11.6pF/ft

Resistance per conductor 0.078 ohms/m, 0.024 ohms/ft

Overall jacket Crystal clear PVC

Overall diameter 10mm / 0.395 inch

The cable is available either ‘on the roll' or as boxed bi-wire sets terminated with high conductivity, gold plated 4mm plugs.

Bi-wires are terminated at one end with one connector per conductor, and at the other with a pair of conductors common in each connector.
