Moving Air AES Digital Interconnect Cable |
|||
|
|||
|
Moving Air's 'Abbey Road AES' digital cable is new, but already proven:- At the world renowned Olympic Suudios, a competitors 6m AES cable was struggling with a 192Khz AES single. When the engineer replaced it with a 40m roll of Abbey Road cable, the producer found the results perfect. This illustrates the extrordinarily fast and detailed reproduction you get with Moving Air's cable. |

Below are the independently measured results from EMI showing the clarity of Abbey Road cable compared to a competitors best AES digital cable
tested with 24bit, 96Khz AES digital signals:

These charts show clearly how Moving Air's AES Abbey Road cable can outperform other cable brands.
The test were done by technicians at EMI Abbey Road using a special high frequency, precision meter called a
D-Scope. The cables tested were a 40m length of Abbey Road AES cable, and 40m of a competitors AES cable.
The top chart is an illustration of the ideal shape of the digital wave.

The middle chart shows what happens to the signal using 40m of competitors 'best grade' AES digital cable. Notice how the waveform losses its height, or 'amplitude'; this indicates a lot of loss in the cable. Also notice how the edges of the waveform are unlear and curved. This indicates and a lot of jitter and instability.

The third chart shows clearly how Moving Air cable preserves the signal very well. The edges are sharp and vertical, and the height of the waves are the same as the original indicating hardly any signal is lost. Abbey Road cable is a truly 'transparent'. The abilty of Moving Air cable to keep the single true makes it an extremely high fidelity cable in both the digital and analogue audio domain.

Of course we can tell you all the technical bits - if you really want to know just e-mail us-, but the results speak for themselves:
“I was really impressed with this cable. The new digital cable blew every other digital cable out the water. I am currently using the Abbey Road ' Reference' speaker cable at Olympic Studios; it has excellent imagery and natural clarity across a wide range of production styles that gives a sense of truth to the sound. It is an amazingly accurate cable.” Ordering and order codes The cable is available as a fully specificied AES-ebu, balanced digital introcnnect with Neutrik XLR terminations, or as unbalanced set with Eichmann RCA phono bullet connectors. |
